So... Some of you will already know this, but I have a new post-- featured in RELEVANT Magazine's online edition!
And-- as only God could have timed it-- it's an article called, "5 Reasons the Church Should Embrace Science"-- smack in the middle of our Faith in the Science Classroom series. Cool? Very. Coincidence? I think not.
In light of this-- and the fact that I have a big PhD related deadline coming up verrryyy quickly-- I'm going to leave you to read this very, er, relevant article today.
For a quick teaser-- my reasons are:
1. Science and faith are not at odds.
2. Studying science can deepen your relationship with God.
3. Pursuing science will lead you to worship.
4. It doesn't have to be confrontational.
and...
5. Science needs Christians.
So go read it!
And if you like it, share it!
(And in case my shamelessly linking to it four times already didn't work, the url is: http://www.relevantmagazine.com/god/worldview/5-reasons-church-should-embrace-science)
We'll pick up with the next regularly-scheduled post next week so I can both meet my deadline and finish polishing the next post for you all, ok? But I'm thrilled to share the RELEVANT article with you all. It's a condensed version of a lot of the themes I talk about regarding faith and science, and I've been wanting so very much to share it with you (but had to wait to see if they'd publish it!). Also, RELEVANT is one of my favorite magazines.

For anyone new to Mary&Marie and checking us out for the first time because of the RELEVANT article: Welcome! I invite you to explore this week, or catch up on our series until the next installment next Saturday!
Faith in the Science Classroom, Part I
Faith in the Science Classroom, Part II
Faith in the Science Classroom, Part III
And you can also share your own experiences by taking the poll!
Of course, this isn't all I talk about, either. Check out the archives (on the right) to explore more!
